Description

Christmas ornaments go back in the box in January — even when they were made by hand and carry as much attention to form and material as a piece of jewellery. The task was to show them in a setting that shifts that perception.

Two editions, two registers. The first is styled after high-end jewellery photography: each ornament placed in a silver box or shell, laid on deep red velour. Hard directional light with sharp black shadows makes the materials ring — blown glass, porcelain, and ceramic read as objects worth keeping out all year. The second edition uses a neutral warm background, softer and more intimate: wood, fabric, and glass in a different mood, the same logic of presence in the frame.

All objects and the environment were produced digitally: virtual set design with integration of original photography supplied by the brands, without physical logistics.
