How the site works

We first noticed a dark website at Formafantasma: they chose a dark background intentionally to reduce energy use. That approach resonates with us, so we adopted it on our own site as well.

As in the studio’s projects, while building this website we focused on doing only what was necessary: nothing excessive, more meaning, attention to detail, and awareness of the digital footprint.

  • A static architecture without unnecessary load on devices or servers.
  • System fonts, a minimum of visual elements, and clear navigation without decoration.
  • Built in-house by the studio with Astro, TypeScript, and Cloudflare.

  • Images open in two steps: first a compact preview grid, and the large format only after user action. This keeps heavy content from loading automatically.
